Council 2 is accepting scholarship applications through March 15th. There are five $1000 continuing education scholarships available for current members, and twenty three scholarships available for dependents of members ranging from $20,000 to $2000. Donate some of your vacation hours to our Local 1857 Union Leave Bank in October! These hours make sure our dedicated officers and union stewards are fairly compensated for the time they put in for the benefit of all. As an incentive for this important Union resource, each one hour donation to the Union Leave Bank will earn an entry to be put in a drawing for one of three prizes. The first prize will be a $25 Starbucks Gift Card plus Union swag, the second prize will be a $15 Starbucks Gift Card plus Union Swag, and the third prize will be a $10 Starbucks gift card plus Union swag.
