Local 1857 Elections One Month Away!

Hopefully your ballot from King County Elections has arrived, but November 3rd is not the only election day you should have on your radar because one month from TODAY is Local 1857’s election for the eBoard! Looking for a way to volunteer for the union? Now might be your chance!

At the upcoming General Membership meeting on November 20th, 2026 at 7:15pm (look for a link to attend the meeting in an email closer to the meeting date), we’ll be holding elections for the executive board. The positions that are up for election this cycle are:

  • Vice President (2 year term)
  • Secretary (2 year term)
  • All Other Classifications-at-Large (1 year term)
  • Facilities-at-Large (1 year term)
  • Librarian-at-Large (1 year term)
  • LTA-at-Large (1 year term – 2 positions)
  • Page-at Large (1 year term – 2 positions)
  • PSA-at-Large (1 year term)
  • Trustee (3 year term – not an eBoard position)
